Membership of the Institute can be obtained in the following categories:

Industrial Corporate Members

These shall include companies, Organisations, firms, Institutes engaged in the methods and means of Welding and it’s allied processes, fabricators, manufacturer of Consumables and Equipment, Research and Development Institutions and Welding Education Service providers. Depending upon the size of Capital assets, etc. the ICM’s are Classified.

Individual Members

These are four different categories, i.e., Fellow, Member, Associated member & Associate depending upon the candidates’ qualification, experience, age, position in the field of Welding. Life Membership facilities are also available for Fellows, Members & Associate Members.
